Winter for the mean-time

Picture 168 My backyard with snow in the winter.

Looking outside from an igloo I built. This February.

Today was a rather strange day. I woke up expecting at least a two hour delay due to the weather conditions we were supposed to be getting. That, however, did not happen, which would make the day stressful for many folks. And here’s why.

One the way to school this morning, the roads were a complete mess. They were somewhat plowed; however, the snow kept falling and pilling up. Cars were slipping and the pavement could barely be seen in some spots. The bus ride up to votec was interesting because none of the roads in that area were clear either. The bus slipped a few times, more-so on the way BACK to school a few hours later. A cancellation would have been appropriate.

The day went by surprisingly fast. Not much happened today. It’s 6:30 right now and I’m hesitating on going outside. It wouldn’t be a bad idea; the snow is going to be gone Sunday, so I should enjoy it now.

Windows Live Writer is pretty sweet. I’m also working with Windows Live Mail. It’s pretty impressive also.

Let it snow, let it snow! Just not in two weeks – we have to go on our trip for Christmas break.

Some Updates

windows live writer

Windows Live Writer. My new blogging software.

Well it’s been a long time since I’ve updated. But that won’t happen again.

I’ve moved over to my new laptop for good. Brandon has the "old" one. I ended up installing Windows XP on here because Vista just completely annoyed me.

This laptop is a beauty with Windows XP. I’m happy it’s set up like this.

Now on to some news.

We had the day off yesterday due to about three inches of snow. It was pretty sweet. We had a two hour delay today. It was nice to have shortened classes.

I hope we have one tomorrow too. I’ll be updating this blog much more now that I have Windows Live Writer. There’s finally a good Microsoft product.
